أول شيء نتذكره عند رؤية أشجار النخيل هو الشواطئ الإستوائية التي إعتدنا على رؤيتها من خلال أفلام الكرتون و نحن صغار، وربما هناك من حضي منا بالفعل بفرصة خوض هده التجربة، لكن الشاطئ لن يكتمل دون الماء. قد تسأل "أين الماء في هده الرسمة؟" الماء هو الرسمة ذاتها! قمت بإستعمال الألوان المائية للتعبير عن هذا الموضوع التي أعطت للرسمة طابعا وكأنها إنعكاس نخل الشاطئ على مياه البحر المالح.
