Design publishing rules and intellectual property rights

Version 1.0 · Last updated:

  1. Artists may publish only original designs they created and have the rights to use commercially, or content covered by a valid, explicit license for the intended use.
  2. Taking or copying designs from Google, Pinterest, social media, design marketplaces or any other source is prohibited without an explicit license permitting printing and sale.
  3. Publishing or reselling another artist’s work without the rights holder’s permission is prohibited.
  4. Using brand logos or names, film, anime or game characters, images of celebrities or athletes, or any protected content is prohibited unless a license covers the intended use.
  5. Editing a protected design, changing its colors, removing its signature or redrawing it does not automatically grant rights to use it.
  6. Buying a file or finding it for free does not mean its license permits printing it on products and selling them.
  7. Artists must provide proof of licensing when requested.
  8. Artists retain ownership of their designs and grant OUBELLE a non-exclusive license to display them, create product images, print and sell them, promote products featuring them, and allow printing partners to use them solely to fulfill orders.
  9. Artists are responsible for the accuracy of their declarations and for holding the necessary rights, and bear the consequences of breaching these obligations under applicable law.
  10. OUBELLE may reject, suspend or remove a design in the event of a violation or a serious third-party rights claim, and suspend or close accounts for repeated or serious violations.
  11. The artist is responsible for the designs they publish and declares that they hold the rights necessary to display, print and sell them. Publishing others’ work or using protected content without a valid license is prohibited. The artist bears the legal consequences of breaching these obligations under applicable law.
